Friend had to put down his choc. lab. He lives alone and the dog was his main company. He is 79 & active. Any adoptable choc? chakraz@icloud.com

I looked at the local shelters, IMHS, EAPL, Charlie's Place, and didn't see any choc. labs. Here's some places I found. So sorry for your friend's loss.

https://lab.rescueme.org/Colorado - website is a little weird - keep going down to see dogs

Thank you for your time! So kind of you. I have checked a couple of those but not all so I will keep an eye on those sites too.

I looked on Foothills Animal Shelter site and didn't see anything there. There were some lab mixed breeds on DDFL and Maxfund, but maybe not what your friend is looking.

I had a call back from safe harbor rescue (thank you for that one) They had a young lab (was returned for being too active) poor puppy. Now that they know more about my friend they are going to let me know when they get an older dog. They said they should get one in soon.

Here’s a handsome boy, but they don’t give many details about him.

There are a couple here:

There are a couple other lab rescues, but Covid 19 has caused problems.
