Gorgeous! I don’t think I’ve ever seen an all white Mal. Look at all the beautiful fur!
Just a side note: Northern breeds can live in warm temperatures with air conditioning. In Albuquerque, I have seen outside, adobe, dog houses that have their own air conditioners! _________________ The life you’ve led doesn’t have to be the only life you live. |

What a gorgeous dog. This is a toughie as it would be difficult to bring him (assuming he is a boy) into the pack then give him up after 2 years. Maybe something to ponder....

I think that fostering him for two years with the support of the owners is an “option”. Because they don’t want to part with him but feel Florida isn’t ideal.
It seems to my heart that they want the best situation for him and would consider every option. It was clarified on FB he is a neutered male Mal. I need to check the original post for more feedback. There was some interest early on. |

not judging or anything, & we don't know full situation, just sharing info. My Father lived in SE Ga (just shy of the border of FL) for 40yrs. 100' and 90+ humidity.. (I grew up there). He had a Husky last 10 years there. Husky did fine.. Rare is situation where you DON'T have Central AC. There are usually plenty of cooling off water places as well, walk early in day and late in evenings helps, and if needed- shave down fur. Just sharing.. like I say.. as it's usually more trauma for the animal to be separated from their family. But, we don't down full situation here. (I'm a CVT/LVT). Best of luck with whatever happens..I also knew folks who brew Chows down there & had Samoyeds.
