COURTESY POST. In Colorado, Cinder and Moose lost their person last week in an unexpected and tragic manner. Cinder is a 2 yrs old, spayed, female black lab. Moose is a 3 yrs old, neutered, male Chesapeake Bay retriever. Their owner took them everywhere with him so they have been well-socialized and are friendly to everyone. Friends are requesting that they be rehomed together. Please share with retriever loving friends and family and email mountainpetrescue@gmail.com if you can help.

side note: my first Chessie was named Montana and my boyfriend got one of her brothers and named him Moose. He had bottle cap with his tags

It is heartbreaking, Ang. I see several people where this is being shared, offering to take one. I hope they find an Angel that has the room and resources for both so they don’t suffer the additional loss of each other.

I doubt the rescue will allow them to be separated. Let's hope they make sure they find the right people and in Colorado, there are a lot of very active people who would make perfect owners
