A good story about the efforts of a local community with the challenges this weekend with 285 being closed.

They were all shipped over here because of the I70 issues and then they were stuck. I am so pleased the town came together.

Would be practical for the news stations to stop informing people that they can take 285 instead of I-70.
Not the same kind of highway.

There were also so many other acts of kindness, and good samaritans helping locals and travelers. Truly heartwarming.

Chakraz - well put; 285 is definitely not the same kind of highway as I-70. And extreme road conditions are not infrequent on 285, and often catch travelers unaware.
