After the planning meeting today, I am mad! They talked about spills and how they will be contained. I want you to look at the drone footage taken from Reffel Ranch where they have been processing raw sewage from septic trucks over the last year and see the line of waste coming from the blue container and going down the hill! Look at the dead trees! This was supposed to be cleaned up and removed per the Cease and Desist letter issued that Park County ignores!

I am stupefied that anyone can “process human waste” that they have been paid to remove from residential systems, haul it to property starting in early morning hours, not legally or appropriately zoned for, inspected, tested, supervised, approved whatever … and the powers that be don’t give a rats [censored word].

And then refuse to stop and now want to rezone a parcel to do more of this, and take issue that anyone wouldn’t want this???

This is the height of audacity.

I’ve heard some sketchy [fecal matter] (no pun intended) in my years living here in Park County, but this one reeks beyond most.

I didn’t attend the meeting, but from what I am reading above am I to understand that the Planning Commission approved the re-zoning request and passed it on the the commissioners for final approval? Were there any conditions attached to the Planning Commission’s recommendation?

Maybe that is why it continues rolling on. Someone certainly thinks it is a sure thing. I hope they are wrong, is there another septic company up here that we can change to in protest? Lack of business sometimes helps.

I took my dog for a walk tonight and could not walk the trail in Will O Wisp because Shirley has placed a nice “No Trespassing,” sign there.
