"As of January 1st 2016, Park County residents should call the Park County
Fire information line at 719.836.4160 to determine if they can have a
controlled burn or campfire.
All fire districts starting in 2016 when issuing burn permits will include
the new fire line information number. This information has also been
added to the county web site.

Residents will no longer be required to contact Park County Communications
to report their burn. They will be required to call the burn line to
determine if a burn ban is in effect in their fire district. Residents
are required to know the various rules and regulations of their fire
district."

If you have any questions contact your Fire Department or Park County
Communications Director Maria Mitchell at 719.836.4115

Because Buffalo Creek does not have any Cell service, is the alternative to register the landline, if you have one ? As a noob it's kinda scary to think that we'd be outta luck when it came to being warned because of lack of cell service or is there an alternative anyone can think of ?

Isn't Buffalo Creek in Jefferson County? This is for Park County.

As a county resident that wants to have a campfire or outside burn, you are required to call 719.836.4160 before you burn to find out if you can. If you do not have cell service at your home, you need to go where you do have service in order to make the call. PAR5 you do make confusing statements. Regarding warning, I think you are referring to a reverse 911??? If that is the case, if you don't have cell service you wont get a cell call. The burn line and reverse 911's are a totally separate topic. Call me at 719.836.4115 so that I can clarify ---- Jefferson County uses the same emergency delivery system that Park County does. If you are a resident to Park County and would like further clarification please call. 719.836.4115
