I have two FedEx deliveries that have been delayed since Monday, with no estimated delivery date available. I AM NOT COMPLAINING, I'm just wondering if anyone knows if something has changed. FedEx is usually the most reliable delivery option. I've decided not to do any online orders until next year.

I too had delays; I spoke to the driver when she came in my driveway. She said that they are behind, not enough employees at this time. I had a package that was over 5 days late, and when I asked her to please look on her truck again, she found it and my other package. She seemed overwhelmed and almost in tears, I gave her a hug and wished her the best. It does seem alot of companies are just short handed. Hopefully things will improve soon she said.

I’m watching posts on FB. All carriers are either understaffed in every aspect of the supply chain and some drivers not familiar with the route or your delivery specific details, are on the job.

There aren’t enough people sorting, loading or unloading. There aren’t enough people period.

Daily, Isee posts on Nextdoor and FB informing that they have a package for so and so and attempts are made to get the item to where it belongs. People post pictures of the porch they received with their delivery notification but it isn’t their porch. Or end of driveway. Or pile of scrap wood on the road shoulder…. With a package nearby.

On 12/2 I ordered some cleaning products. They are being delivered by FedEx. Estimated delivery was 12/12.
Then I started getting progress notifications. When it was loaded in Prescott Az on the 6th. Arrived and departed from phoenix on the 7th. Updated delivery date of yesterday, the 8th.
(HA!!)

It didn’t arrive.

This morning it’s marked as delayed. I’m not surprised and I’ll give it the weekend. But it’s liquids and it’s cold and I’ll be shocked if there is no damage.

People are waiting weeks for prescription dog food and now scurrying to find replacements.
I’ve delayed my auto ship from chewy because the last two times there were delays or the boxes were so battered I was stunned the contents remained in them.

I’ll wait until after the holidays as well.

This past June, I ordered presciption dog food from Chewy which was to be delivered by Fedex. The package ended up being delivered at the end of a near by road almost 1 miles away; no where near my home or driveway.

I had to run errands and saw a Chewy box which was pretty mangled and torn open with the food bags torn open at the end of the road. I parked, got out and checked the box. Sure enough it was my box; over a mile away. Of course, the bears and/or foxes had eaten most of the food. I called Chewy to complain. They told me the carriers (i.e. FedEx and UPS) are using independent contractors to drive their trucks and deliver the packages... Chewy refunded my money; but my dog still needed the food. I've not bought anything online since. I am tired of packages not being delivered.

From what I've seen between May thru July, UPS and FedEx are no longer reliable and trust worthy. This is a continuing problem. I do not see these issues with deliveries being resolved for quite a long time to come.

Hmm, we have not had any problems with UPS delivering packages and we get a lot of them. I created a UPS account and get notices when a package is to be delivered and just after it was delivered.

We do have a FedEx package "out for delivery" today. I sure hope it gets to our house. I don't want to have to go looking for it.

Most of my heavy Chewy boxes arrive, but torn up. They are taking more than a week now to my house instead of the usual 2-3 days.

We’ve been dealing with a bad/aggressive FedEx driver and it is impossible to report these drivers. These delivery services are getting into the medical field scams - consult everything out which removes liability from them, hence why they don’t give a s….

Check out the latest FedEx BS/very sad :( - https://ktla.com/news/nexstar-media-wir ... -with-van/

“ Tanner Lynn Horner, 31, told investigators that Athena Strand wasn’t seriously hurt after he hit her while backing up, but he panicked and put her in his van. He said she was talking to him and told him her name, according the warrant.”

FedEx has definitely gone down hill and continues to - CEO was changed fairly recently, maybe that has something to do with it, too. We’ve been happy with UPS so far, because we do have a nice routine driver. One time we had this driver that was delivering a package which was the next door neighbor’s package, when I told him this, his eyes looked like he saw a ghost and said to me, I can’t do it, I’ll get lost. We got a real laugh out of that one, needless to say we never saw that driver again…lol.

Someone sent a gift FedEx last week- didn't know it until we went out the next day & saw that we had backed over it in the road. Check around periodically, even if you're not expecting a delivery. UPS & USPS always deliver to our home, never have items tossed in the street or yard, good people.

We went for a short hike and when we got home, our package was leaning against the garage door.

A parcel that was out for delivery on Wednesday is currently delayed with no delivery date.

this is balls to the walls for all delivery companies. two weeks til Christmas. it has always been like this as far back as I can remember. I have noticed the last couple of years, we don't have regular drivers anymore. new person almost every time, so you don't get to know them, they don't know where to leave things or some can't even find the house.
