I was at Safeway on Tuesday and got caught in the pre-storm and high school lunch crowd. The self checkouts were closed because they are moving them by the main entrance. The woman at the bank said they are moving the Starbucks by the main entrance, and moving other things around also. I hope they don't change it too much. I still can't find things after the last remodel.

They probably needed more room after the liquor expansion!

When King Sooners remodeled, it got so crazy I started shopping at Safeway. I have stayed at Safeway until this huge remodel and I don’t know if I can stay through it. Starbucks was in a lovely cozy corner, even out of the way. Did they really have to tear that all up and move it? Why??? Sometimes I think remodeling is just for the sake of moving everything so it looks different. How about saving money and charging less for groceries? That would be lovely.

Yes, that would be lovely! I wonder if they're going to move the fireplace and the mountain view out the window.
