We just had a couple of lightning strikes nearby in the last half hour or so. As we all know, thankfully they occur during a decent amount of rainfall to not be of great concern 99% of the time. A couple of minutes ago, I glanced up and saw through the narrow view of the window across my house, a bright orange glow in the trees and panicked. I ran outside to get the wider view and witnessed the brightest ban of orange on a rainbow peeking through the treetops that I've ever seen. I love living here.
