Get Medicare’s new “What’s covered” app!

Quote:
Not sure if Medicare will cover your medical test or service? Medicare’s free “What’s covered” app delivers accurate cost and coverage information right on your smartphone.

...

“What’s covered” is available for free on both the App Store and Google Play. Search for “What’s covered” or “Medicare” and download the app to your phone. Once “What’s covered” is installed, you can use it to get reliable Medicare information even when you’re offline.

This app was created by the federal government so I beleive it's accurate and - it's free.

I went to the Apple app store and quickly found the app by searching for "Medicare". The very first test I did with the app was for Glaucoma. My father had Glaucoma, diagnoised late in his life. And learned from the app since I have a family history of Glaucoma, I can get a preventative care screening every 12 months for free. I will be making my appointment for this ASAP.

If you have medicare, I recommend you get this app and give it a try. It's easy to use and I have found it to be quite useful.

You can go to Medicare.gov and get the same information.

What Medicare Covers

In my experience, the webpages are not as user friendly as the IOS app. You can do searches via the webpages also.

Got it. It will help avoid a lot of surprises. "Shock" is a better word.
